Lisa
Christine, Salon Owner
I love hair
and that’s why
I have been in the industry for 20
years. This will be my 4th year of
owning Salone di Essenza. I will
create the best style for your hair,
whether short, long, straight, or
curly. I love color, especially highlighting.
I believe hair should have dimension
for natural “enhancing” or
more dramatic if you dare. I have
taken various classes with Aquage,
Sexy Hair, Toni & Guy, American
Crew for men, for cuts, color & upstyles.
I use Lakme Collage haircolor from
Spain. It has less than 1% ammonia.
I also use Lakme Gloss, a demi color
for adding color or blending in grey.
It has no ammonia and no peroxide.
I am certified in Chi Transformation
System (thermal ionic straightening.)
So come in and see what I can create for you!

Curry
Blaha
cur·ry [kur-ee, kuhr-ee]noun,
plural verb, -ried,
noun: Indian spice; may be mild or spicy
verb: to have ones hair styled by Curry
Like my name, my talents range
from modern conservative cuts and colors to fantasy
hair and makeup. I received my training
at the Paul Mitchell Academy in Austin. After
working in the salon for several years I decided
to get my instructors license. I taught
at the Paul Mitchell Academy as the Color Specialist
for a year, but my true passion to do hair has
brought me back to the salon. I have participated
in several local fashion shows, worked on many
photoshoots, a short film and full length movie. My
specialties include color, cuts, updos, makeup
and waxing. I offer on-site hair and makeup
for weddings, family portraits, and parties as
well as offering makeup lessons for women of
all ages. I also offer several types of
extensions for length and thickness and the CHI
Transformation system. Children and are
always welcome. Schedule an appointment
today and “add some spice to your life”.

Leah
Barber
Hello, my name is Leah
Barber. My
last name made me predestined to be a hair stylist;
I’m sure of it! I am very hands on
and love interacting with all sorts of different
people. Classy sass is how I would describe
myself. Oregon has been my home for almost
all my life and I am a true north western girl. I
just recently moved to Austin and I love it here!
I have been making men; women and children
feel beautiful for almost two years. Long
cuts and men’s cuts are my favorite. Also
I specialize in curly hair. So if you're
having trouble taming your curly tresses I’m
your girl. Subtle highlights and low lights
are my thing. Whatever your hair color may
be I will take that natural beauty and make you
look and feel ever more beautiful. Hope to see
you in my chair soon!
